Fixin’s Presents: “Got to Be NC” – A Celebration of North Carolina Flavors

This September, Fixin’s is thrilled to unveil “Got to Be NC,” a special 5-course menu spotlighting the best of North Carolina—from farm to table to glass. Each course features North Carolina–sourced ingredients perfectly paired with Childress Vineyards wines from our great state’s vineyards. The menu is crafted by Fixin’s very own Chef Rick Dobrowski, alongside guest Chef John LaTour.

Both Chef’s graduated from Johnson & Wales University’s Culinary Arts Program, grounding them in exceptional culinary training. They share a deep commitment to North Carolina’s food culture, working to uplift local ingredients and Southern cuisine through their work.

Together, they’re crafting an exclusive 5-course tasting experience that not only showcases the bounty of North Carolina’s land and vineyards but also highlights the value of bringing exceptional local cuisine to the community in meaningful, health-conscious ways.
